英字新聞を読むには各単語の形式を知ることが大事！
英語を勉強し始めたばかりの段階だと、教材と違って英字新聞を読むのはかなり難しいと思います。それぞれの新聞が独自の書き方をもっていたりもするので。なので、僕が補足をつけながら、英字新聞を読むのお手伝いしようと思います。教材の文法には慣れたけど英字新聞はまだ苦手という、初級ー中級あたりの人用の解説です。
何回も言いますが、新聞を読むためには各々の単語が名詞（noun）なのか、形容詞（adjective）なのか、副詞（adverb）なのかがめちゃくちゃ大事になってきます！文法はほんっっっっっっとうに大事です！！！一緒に一つずつやっていきましょう！僕の勉強がわりにもなっているので、僕が知っていることは飛ばしていたりします。なので、何かわからないことがあれば気軽にコメントください。できるだけ答えます！よろしくお願いします 😉

A Canadian couple happily kissed as they posed for a photo next to a lion they had just killed while on a safari in South Africa.
Darren and Carolyn Carter, from Edmonton, Alberta, were taking part in a tour organised by Legelela Safaris when they shot and killed the magnificent creature.
The tour operator regularly shares snaps of dead animals alongside proud hunters, often grinning as they hold up their guns, on their Facebook page.
Underneath the kissing photo, they wrote: ‘Hard work in the hot Kalahari sun…well done. A monster lion.’
Other photos show the same couple in front of another dead lion, captioned: ‘There is nothing like hunting the king of the jungle in the sands of the Kalahari.
Underneath (adverb)
Cambridge Dictionary によると ” under or below: “という風に記載されています。

The pair, who run a taxidermy business, have described themselves as ‘passionate conservationists’ despite taking part in hunts, reports the Mirror.
Mr Carter told the Mirror: ‘We aren’t interested in commenting on that at all. It’s too political.’
Eduardo Goncalves, the founder of the Campaign to Ban Trophy Hunting, believes the lions were captive and bred for the sole purpose of being killed by hunters.
He added: ‘It looks as though this lion was a tame animal killed in an enclosure, bred for the sole purpose of being the subject of a smug selfie.
‘This couple should be utterly ashamed of themselves, not showing off and snogging for the cameras.’
Legelela Safaris charges £2,400 for giraffe hunts and £2,000 for zebra. They also offer leopard, elephant, rhino and lion hunts.
The news comes after Environment Secretary Michael Gove said he wants to ban big-game hunters bringing back trophies from their kills.

tame (adjective)
Macmillan Dictionaryによると ” a tame animal has been trained to stay calm when people are near it, because it is used to being with them “という風に記載されていますね。
例文：
After a few months’ contact the monkeys become very tame.
Their goats seem very tame.
smug (adjective)
Macmillan Dictionaryによると ” too satisfied with your abilities or achievements. This word shows that you dislike people like this “という風に記載されていますね。
例文：
a smug expression/face/smile
a smug grin
To snog (verb)
Macmillan Dictionary によると ” if two people snog, or if one person snogs another, they kiss and hold each other for a period of time “という風に記載されていますね。
例文：
I saw them snogging on the back seat of a bus.
I’ve never snogged (with) a man with a beard.
They were snogging on the sofa.
My sister and her boyfriend snogged on the sofa all night.
He caught us having a snog.
